She is a published writer, reporter, and producer whose portfolio of work has been featured in award-winning publications. Vania is a journalist and entrepreneur who possesses the exceptional ability to provide impactful storytelling via creative mediums.

Maryland-born and bred, Vania is a native of Prince George's County. She is an alumnus of the Cathy Hughes School of Communications at the illustrious Howard University in Washington, DC, where she received a Bachelor of the Arts in Media, Journalism, and Film Communications and minored in Sociology with a focus in Criminology. As a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Vania takes pride in serving her community and empowering people of all ages to become the very best version of themselves. Although Vania has her own media/marketing consulting business, VaniB Media Productions, she is currently an MBA candidate at the University of Maryland Global Campus.

Her decade-long experience in communications spans from multimedia to marketing expertise. Vania has a reputation for exceeding expectations as a digital marketing strategist and high-profile social media manager who has contributed to the success of organizations’ communications goals.

Since 2022, Vania’s career with iHeart Media as a Traffic Anchor and Producer has allowed her to work with multiple local radio and TV stations from Baltimore, MD, to Washington, DC, and Richmond, VA. Through iHeart, she has worked with the likes of Fox 5 DC WTTG, WJLA Channels 7 & 8, Sirius XM WDC, WKYS, Praise 104.1 (WPRS), and Magic 102.3 (WMMJ), to name only a few. Her extensive skill set in broadcasting and producing traffic reports earned her a promotion in less than 18 months.
